HVC Canada Awarded Second Project at the University of Alberta

June 1, 2009—HVC Canada Ltd. is pleased to announce that they have been awarded the University of Alberta Chemistry West Exhaust System Upgrades Project. HVC Canada will be working with Construction Managers, Delnor Construction, to execute this highly complex and time sensitive project.

The project will consist of the installation of two large custom exhaust air fans as well as a heat recovery system that will capture heat exhausted from the individual lab facilities. The project is scheduled to commence immediately and be completed and operational by January 2010.

This is the second project that HVC Canada has undertaken at the University this year. In January Stuart Olson, one of western Canada’s leading contractors, awarded the Mechanical and Electrical Advisory Services contract to HVC Canada. That project, which is now well under way, includes pre-construction services for the redevelopment of the existing Chemical and Materials Engineering facility and the construction of a new Laboratory tower.
