HVC Canada Awarded 15KV Switchgear Replacement at Royal Alexandra Hospital

August 19, 2008—Edmonton’s Capital Health Region recently awarded HVC Canada the 15KV Switchgear Replacement Project. The project is located at the Royal Alexandra Hospital, one of the Capital Health Regions major healthcare centres. Work undertaking will include the replacement of the 15,000 volt load break switches and the 15,000 volt primary feeders, all the while maintaining continuous power service to this active facility.

HVC Constructors will be undertaking the project installation. “The degree of difficulty and timing of work excluded many of the potential bidders for this project. The expertise of HVC Canada’s high voltage team made the decision to pursue this project an easy one,” stated Jim Clarke, President of HVC Canada Ltd.
