November 17, 2008—The City of Edmonton awarded HVC Construction Management Ltd (HVCCM) with the Police Headquarters Generator Wiring and Synchronization Project. Phase 1 of the project scope consists of the installation of mechanical and electrical services to synchronize two new 750KW back up generators supporting the Police Services Headquarters. Phase 2 includes the de-commissioning of two existing 400KW Generators and related services and the reconstruction of the architectural features.
“Once again, HVC Canada has been awarded a highly complex project that fits the strengths of our firm,” stated Jim Clarke, President of HVC Canada. “The installation will be performed while maintaining all services to this essential facility that runs 24/7,” he added.
The project is expected to commence in Late November and conclude early in the New Year.
